Charity is expecting the best of each other

“Perhaps the greatest charity comes when we are kind to each other, when we don’t judge or categorize someone else when we simply give each other the benefit of the doubt or remain quite.

Charity is accepting someone’s differences, weakness, and shortcomings; having patience with someone who has let us down; or resiting the impulse to become offended when someone doesn’t handle something the way we might have hoped.

Charity is refusing to take advantage of another’s weakness and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us.

Charity is expecting the best of each other”

~Elder Marvin J. Ashton~

Love is…

LOVE IS patient, LOVE is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

LOVE does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Keep going, just a little longer

‘The line between failure and success is so find that we… are often on the line and do not know it. How many a man has thrown up his hands at a time when a little more effort, a little more patience, would have achieved success. A little more persistence, a little more effort, and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success”
